DIP Headphone Jack PJ-3003K-6P-G

The DIP Headphone Jack PJ-3003K-6P-G is a 6-pin DIP headphone jack with a detection switch, designed for 3.5mm stereo audio applications where plug-in status needs to be sensed by the device. Rated at AC 12V / 0.5A, the connector is built from phosphor bronze with silver or gold-plated solder pins. The extra switch contacts allow the host device to detect whether a headphone is inserted, enabling functions such as audio routing or muting. The DIP package suits wave soldering and gives a firm PCB anchor.

The switch function adds contacts whose logic must match the host design, so engineering support matters more than for a plain jack.
